Currently the Union County Humane Society is a foster based, nonprofit rescue located in Union County, MS.

We do everything we can to help get homeless animals off the street and into loving forever homes, but of course we cannot do this without help.

We are lucky to have dedicated fosters willing to take in and care for our wonderful animals until they find a permanent, loving home. For more information on how you can become a foster family click the button below.

Volunteering is one of the easiest ways to support our cause.  For more information on how you can volunteer click below.

Madeline – Meet Madeline!  She is a dachshund mix with a lot of love to go around.  Madeline is a little afraid of people, but will warm right up with a little TLC.

Boo– Boo is an adult domestic short-hair. He loves to play and is crazy about his mice toys. He's a great pet for all types of homes, and he plays well with others!

King Nugget – This regal pup is constantly on the move in search of attention and belly rubs.  He's a Daschund mix with lots of love and energy to go around.

Donating is more than just money, it's peace of mind. Now you can help us care for all of our animals in need by just the click of a button.

Meet Baby.  She was found wandering a busy four lane highway.  Her paws were cracked from the blistering hot asphalt,  She showed evidence of a recent litter, and to top it off she was being chased by a male American Bulldog.  This 15 pound chihuahua mix was our very first rescue, and the oil that got this engine running.  Luckily for her, in about a months time she was adopted by her foster family!  They knew after just a short period of time that she was there to stay.
